HOW TO PLAY
Read the impossible event. Choose which fixed proposition deserves an answer next.

The medium offers a hand of five questions at a time; ask one and a new card is drawn. Each answer is a fixed Yes or No and costs 1 Resolve either way, because a No is evidence too. Skipping is free. Stuck? Redraw the hand or ask for a hint; both only lower your rating a little.
Mark suspects, pin answers and keep your own notes. These are your judgments; the game does not make deductions for you.
Name the responsible person, method, and motive whenever you feel ready, as often as you like. A miss tells you how many of the three parts were right; if you are on the right track but short of evidence, it tells you which kind of clue is missing. You cannot fail: Resolve, hints and wrong theories only shape your rating, never whether you reach the truth.
